Rowena and I learned about "living an apostolic configured lifestyle" in 2020 when we met Dr John and Alaine McElroy, the founders of SCAC (Southern Cross Association of Churches) at Southern Cross Centre in Balga.

Our vision was Community, Equipping and Deployment.

Living an Apostolic Configured Lifestyle.

We were ordained as 'ministers of religion" on 3rd November 2023. I am also a registered marriage celebrant.

We were really excited about the future from a Kingdom Perspective because the church and the marketplace are one. There is no separation.
What we were not prepared for was the passing of Dr John McElroy on 12th October 2024. It was a shock right across the Globe that had a rippling effect because of his sudden death.

He is dearly missed, not only by us but also by his family and many apostolic leaders.

Living an "apostolic configured lifestyle" means we can enjoy a full life serving in church life & ministry, marketplace operations, government & politics, from a Kingdom perspective.

On Sunday, 1st March 2026, Rowena and I went to Hope Church of God, Esperance (recommended by Ps Glenys Rennie, who knew we were going to be in Esperance), where we met Ps Steve & Helen Wallace.

What we didn't expect confirmed what we have been doing since 2012. When Steve got up to preach, off the bat, he called us to stand up and spoke a prophetic word over our lives.

  • "Brother, you have been called to pastor people. He said a few other things, but I don't remember them."

  • "Sister, God has anointed you for healing, casting out demons and setting people free."

Everyone in the church was then given a prophetic word, including a couple from the caravan park where we were staying and another pastor from Perth.

After the service, he came and continued to add to the prophetic word he had given us. He was more specific with his prophecy.

  • Praise God, we know how to steward prophetic words because we don't often receive them.

  • Our last word was from Ps Sheena Ryan, only a few weeks earlier.

Fast-forward to 2026: David & Lidia Kranjec were catapulted into leadership of the Southern Cross Association of Churches.

Dr John and Alaine McElroy were equipping their spiritual son, David Kranjec, for leadership moving forward.

Like everyone else, David mourned the loss of our spiritual father, and with such humility and as a bondservant for Christ, he had to spend time seeking the Lord for what He wants to do with the future of SCAC (Southern Cross Association of Churches)

As an Apostolic Network, we are committed to returning to the priorities and practices of Jesus and the Apostles. We are developing prototypes and working models of ministries that are apostolically configured. Apostolic prototypes focus on four priorities: the Kingdom of God, building community, equipping and deploying.

Jesus' message was the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is the government of God, where His will is done on earth as it is in heaven. When Jesus sent His followers to disciple nations and teach them to obey all He has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20), He was giving a Kingdom mandate.

The Apostles established the community of the Kingdom, the local church. Churches have three priorities: building Kingdom communities, equipping the saints, and deploying the saints into the world.

Life does not always make it easy to attend a physical church, but that does not mean you have to miss out on Christian fellowship.

Introducing Ps Gavin and Karen Stuckey, Overseers of Church Gathering Online.

We joined them in 2024 when Covenant Life Church sent us out to engage in our God-given assignment in both the church and the marketplace, living an apostolic, configured lifestyle.

Building a strong relationship with people we didn't know has taken time to mature. This is written in 2026.

We are members of Church Gathering Online.

Changes are always happening with technological advancements available.

Church Gathering Online provides a place to stay connected for those who travel often, live in remote areas, work unusual hours, or feel isolated at home, in aged care, or in retirement communities. Wherever you are, you can still belong.

At one part of our relationship development, I had the opportunity to meet Gavin and Karen in person in Adelaide then I was hosted in Port Broughton by Timothy and Michelle Doult for a few days.

Gavin and Karen went back to their home, a few hours' drive from Adelaide.

I really enjoyed my time at Port Broughton with Tim and Michelle, their dogs Banjo and Scooter.

What a lovely God-fearing couple. It would have been nice if Rowena had been able to make it, but she hurt her hand and had an appointment to attend.
