What has made us decide to do our Big Lap Trip in 2026?

• We have decided upon June 2026, committed to it and are going.

• Our setup doesn't have to be perfect.

• We don't have to buy "everything" before we go.

• We plan to stay in touch with everyone by installing Starlink.

• We have decided to travel at our own pace, go where we want to go.

• The 3 x 3 x 3 Rule.

  1. Don't travel more than 300 klms or 3 hours per day.

  2. Set up before 3:00 pm.

  3. Stay a minimum of 3 days.

What are we doing to prepare for our Big Lap Trip in 2026?

• We absolutely see the wisdom of doing shakedown trips.

• Shakedown or Mini Trips "somewhere" in Western Australia.

• What works for us and what doesn't.

• Getting to load our setup efficiently and effectively.

• Enjoying our drive to our intended destinations.

• Getting to know how well our rig is balanced or not.

• Making sure we take our time while keeping up our pace.

• Getting to know our Apple Play and using our tools for the trip.
