We have to take a "couch", don't we? Not like our couches at home ... but hey?

Our research over the years has led us to think - Wouldn't it be great if some experienced technological buff came up with a "you beaut gismo thing" that would make the whole deflating and inflating tyres smart and effective for a grey nomads like us?

Well someone has. No idea who but this is the product called MORRFLATE! Who knew?

Our Gear ... We need tools to help us document, film and provide quality production.

Tyre pressure is important on sand, rocks, and corrugations because it affects traction, comfort, and damage to our vehicle:

  • Traction - Lower tyre pressure increases the amount of ground on which our vehicle's weight is spread, which improves traction. This is especially important on sand, where high tyre pressures can cause our vehicle to sink.

  • Comfort - Lower tyre pressure makes for a more comfortable ride by reducing the amount of shock that's passed through our vehicle.

  • Damage - Lower tyre pressure reduces the stress on our vehicle's suspension, which can help prevent damage to our vehicle's nuts, electrical connections, and body mounts. It can also help prevent punctures by allowing the tread to conform to the terrain.

Here are some recommended tyre pressures for different types of terrain:

  • Sand: 18–20 psi is usually enough for most 4WDs.

  • Rocks: 18–22 psi can help with traction and vehicle comfort.

  • Corrugations: 26 psi can help with occupant comfort and prevent shock absorbers from overheating.

  • Gravel roads: 26–30 psi can work depending on the road surface, driving speed, and length.

We know we should also drive more slowly when our tyre pressures are lower to prevent overheating and rim damage.

We love and use our iPhone's to make videos and the whole idea of using a GoPro or 2 we believe is a sound investment...

Fridge barriers just in case the fridge door opens when traveling.

We are going to need a great ground cover for when we set up and need to avoid sand, etc.

The only experience Rowena and I have with flying a drone is by watching Youtube Videos ...
However we do have a friend who is a Commercial Licensed Drone Pilot who is happy to help us out.
His name is Lachie Menzel who owns and runs his own business.

Our ideal drone to start off with is the DJI Mini 4 Pro.

Communication is the basis of life, and Starlink has been a real game changer for living the caravan and camping life, particularly those living full-time on the road. Those who homeschool their children, those who run their business like for example hairdressers, a Vet, and those who weigh rigs etc to ensure our loads are compliant.
